P.J. Curling Makes Comics
P.J. Curling is a middle-aged comic book writer. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, but currently lives in Massachusetts with his wife and their dog.
His writing career didn’t start until his 40s. Prior to writing, he worked as a warehouseman, firefighter, pharmaceutical warehouseman, community inclusion specialist, public address announcer, MMA matchmaker, web radio show host, clinical assistant, and sports commentator for football, soccer, ice hockey, MMA, boxing, pro wrestling and stock car racing. Oh yeah, and for a short period, he owned a semi-pro football team, and he’s an ordained minister (thanks to Monastery.org).
P.J.’s first full length comic book, Undisputed, is his love letter to professional wrestling. It follows the reigning (and retired) Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, Hack Halloway, and the people that want to take the belt away from him. Undisputed is a 3-issue limited series, each issue is 20 pages, full color.
Undisputed #1 is available now through GlobalComix and DriveThru Comics.
